The 12-year-old is medium heavy to fine spicy, sherrytönig with very beautiful honey and spicy notes.
This malt was put into traditional oak barrels after the first ripening, then sherry casks for a second ripening.
Aroma: fruity-soft aromas, clearly ripe apples and caramel
Taste: the fruits remain, to dark sherry notes, again caramel - then chocolate - spicy, especially cinnamon and ginger
Finish: long finish, warm and spicy
