After a maturation period of more than 8 years in traditional oak barrels, this malt was bottled for a second maturation for 9 months in the finest Italian "Sassicaia wine barrels".
The Italian Sassicaia wine is one of the finest grape varieties in the world.
The second ripening in the wine barrels gave rise to an elegant, slightly fruity malt.
Beautiful fresh and fruity aromas with traces of honey and vanilla.
The taste is wonderfully rich in fruit flavors.
A very nice rich and very soft finish.
