Bruichladdich 1991/2007 Bourbon / Pedro Ximénez Single Cask 49.4% vol. 0,7l

Since the reopening of Bruichladdich by the independent bottler Murray McDavid in 2000 - and especially under the direction of Jim McEwan - the distillery and its whiskey shine like never before.

Jim McEwan - born on Islay and formerly master distiller at Bowmore - made a return to the original and natural in making Scottish whiskey.

For this reason, all bottlings of Bruichladdich are not filtered cool and without dyes.

Ripened in the Pedro Ximénez barrel

A bright golden malt, perfectly balanced.
Gorgeous flavors of spicy oak, sultanas and fried banana.
By adding water, aromas of sherry and dark cherries, caramelized walnuts and espresso are released.
In taste, the Pedro Ximénez Sherry dominates in combination with black chocolate, toffee and "scottish Oatcakes".
The finish is long lasting and malty.
