Glenrothes was built in 1879 and merged in 1887 with Bunnahabhain.
Glenrothes is one of the country's most prolific distilleries and delivers whiskey to the likes of Famous Grouse and Cutty Sark.
The malt produced here is perfectly balanced, brilliant and velvety at the same time.
This is the first bottling of Glenrothes without a vintage.
Were casked barrels of different vintages of Malt master John Ramsay. Both first-fill sherry and refill bourbon barrels were used.
It has created a malt that combines all of the character features of Glenrothes and can exist next to the very high quality vintage bottlings of the distillery.
In the aroma and taste you will find ripe fruits, citrus fruits, vanilla and traces of spices.
