Profile: What Makes Benrinnes 15 Year Old Flora & Fauna Special
Benrinnes was founded in Speyside in 1834 under the name “Lyne of Ruthrie Distillery” – four years later, in 1838, the name Benrinnes was introduced. Dewar's acquired the distillery in 1922, and Benrinnes passed via DCL to its current owner, UDV (United Distillers and Vintners). The malt forms the basis of the A.A. Crawford blends, who also held the licence for Benrinnes until 1992. Benrinnes produces a medium-bodied, very well-balanced malt, which may be linked to its distillation method, which, similar to Springbank, involved a 2.5-times distillation.

Sehr runder Benrinnes. (Wie die meisten aus der Flora und Fauna Serie.) Schön, dass auch Destillen die sonst eher in Blends gehen für Liebhaber verfügbar sind.
