Profile: What Makes Bowmore 25 Year Old Special
The 25-year-old shows very intense sherry and fruit notes, accompanied by the typical Bowmore smokiness. On the palate delicate toffee and hazelnut notes with a trace of sweet peat smoke. The finish is soft, gentle and incredibly complex.
In the glass it shows a mellow mahogany. At this age the smoke stays in the background and leaves the lead to sherry sweetness and fruit character.
