Auchroisk produces a silky, malted sherry keg.
Only since 1986, the whisky is bottled as a single malt.
The distillery is owned by J & B (Justerini & Brooks - UDV), who launched it as Malt's counterpart to its own blends.

Aroma: malzig, aromatisch durch Zitrusfrüchte geprägt.
Geschmack: Apetitmachend und aromenreich. Süßlich mit Anisaromen.
Abgang: süßlich, keksartige Trockenheit, trockener werdend.

Eher ein einfacher Whisky - man merkt eben, dass die Brennerei für Blends produziert, und daher eher auf Konstanz in den Produkten statt auf große Komplexität setzt.
