Springbanks 15-year-old is a powerful, slightly oily malt.
Campbeltown's ancient distillery has also brought its legendary salt to this bottling.
The single malt whisky matured exclusively in former sherry Casks.
Nose: Demerara sugar and dark chocolate, followed by fresh Christmas cake with almonds and toffee - some oak in the background
Taste: creamy, again the dark chocolate, in addition raisins, figs and marzipan, then you can see Brazil nuts and vanilla
Finish: oak and sherry notes combine with a touch of leather - slightly fruity
