Bowmore still uses its own malting floors and is one of the few distilleries on Islay, who like to experiment with sherry barrels.

The 12-year-old comes to about 70% from bourbon barrels and about 30% from sherry casks.
The typical smokes of the Bowmore harmonize beautifully with the aroma and sweetness of Heidehonig.
Bowmore 15 years 43% vol. 0,2l
The 15-year-old has seductive aromas of leather, sweetmeat wheat grains, nuts and Oloroso sherry.
A round, rich bouquet with few salt and peat notes.
The barrel proportions are about 70% bourbon barrel and 30% sherry barrel.

The 17-year-old is a very balanced malt with an aroma of exotic fruits and the Islay-typical peat smoke - an incredibly powerful malt.
