Highland Park is the world's northernmost distillery, located on the Orkney Islands. One of the few distilleries who still poke their peat themselves. In nearby Hobbister Moor Highland Park finds its peat malting.
The 12-year-old is a delicacy with a wonderful heidetone and a full, sweet smoking sound. The whiskey author and critic Michael Jackson calls him the greatest all-rounder among malt whiskeys.
