Founded in 1836 and owned by the Grant family since 1865.
John Grant leads Glenfarclas today in its fifth generation.
Glenfarclas is also one of the few distilleries that have produced almost without interruption since its foundation.
This explains the wide range of different fillings from this house.
Limited edition from the series "Limited Rare Bottling" of the vintage 1989 - aged in Oloroso-Sherry casks (Premium Edition).
Only barrels filled with whiskey were bottled for the first time.
These so-called "first-fill-casks" are the most coveted barrels of every distillery!
