Product information "Aberlour 10 Year Old 40% vol. 0,7l"
Aberlour's standard bottling, the 10-year-old is a medium to fine spicy single malt whiskey.

Aroma: sweet raisins in sherry, with aromas of soft toffee and roasted nuts
Taste: full in the body with notes of spicy fruit cake and creamy malt, above all light notes of ripe bananas
Departure: medium in the finish with a lot of caramel and honey, again the malty notes, with a sweet spice

Als Einsteiger wollte ich etwas sanftes und mildes probieren. Der erste Eindruck war allerdings nicht demnach. Er ist doch recht scharf am Anfang. Nach dem zweiten Glas geht es dann schon und er wird etwas süßer.

Die Lieferung erfolgte wie immer schnell, zuverlässig und sehr gut verpackt.

Der Aberlour 10 Jahre war mein Einstieg in die Whisky Degustierung. Da der Whisky Noten von Karamell und Vanille hat, und überhaupt nicht rauchig schmeckt, ist er eine gute Option für den Whisky Ungeübten.
