In addition to Glenkinchie she is the last still producing Lowland distillery.
Auchentoshan was founded around 1800, the owners of this classic Lowland distillery changed frequently.
In 1984, the distillery finally came to the Morrison Group, which in turn is part of Suntory, Japan.
The 10-year-old has an amazing aroma of citrus fruits, typical of a Lowland, a soft, mellow malt with an elegant maltiness.
The taste is fruity with a hint of orange and a wonderfully lasting sweetness.
