Glen Scotia is next to Springbank, the last still producing distillery in Campbeltown, alone here were previously over 30 distilleries in operation.
Glen Scotia currently produces only very irregularly, so that there are often bottlenecks and the malt is often not available. The 14-year-old is a typical representative of the Campbeltown region with his salt note. The malt is oily and long-lasting in the finish.
