Dieser Laphroaig reifte zunächst in traditionellen Eichenfässern, danach in ausgesuchten kleineren "Quarter Casks".
Das Ergebnis ist eine samtweiche Süße, gefolgt von der intensiven Torfigkeit eines Laphroaig.

Aroma: viel Toffee und nussige Aromen, dazu Töne von Rum und saftigen Rosinen - etwas Vanille
Geschmack: zu Beginn eine intensive Süße, sehr würzig und wärmend, Rauch, Jod und Torf - im Hintergrund süßer Sirup
Abgang: mittellanger Abgang, überraschend fruchtig mit Noten von karamelisiertem Zucker und Zigarrenrauch
