Das Rezept für den BUMBU The Original stammt aus dem 16. und 17. Jahrhundert: Seefahrer und Kaufleute mischten zu ihrem Rum karibische Früchte und Gewürze und nannten es "Bumbu".
Auch heute wird sich an dieses Rezept gehalten und es werden verschiedene Früchte und Gewürze zum Barbados-Rum hinzugefügt - aber keine künstlichen Farb- und Aromastoffe!

Bestes und nachhaltig produziertes Zuckerrohr aus acht verschiedenen Ländern in Südamerika und der Karibik werden für die Herstellung des Rum verwendet.
Zuckerrohr aus Barbados, Bélize, Brasilien, Costa Rica, der Dominikanischen Republik, El Salvador, Guyana und Honduras.
Das Zuckerrohr wird aus diesen Ländern nach Barbados importiert. Destilliert wird der Rum auf Barbados.
Bis zu 15 Jahren reift der Rum in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern.

Aroma: reichhaltige und komplexe Aromen von Madagaskar-Vanille, weichem Karamell und würziger Eiche
Geschmack: Noten von Zimt, gerösteten Nüssen, reifen Bananen und Piment
Abgang: eine perfekte Komposition, mit milder Süße und einem leichten, weichen Abgang
