Produktbeschreibung "Aikan Extra Collection 43%vol. Sample 0,04l"
Aikan bedeutet "Hochzeit" in Arawak, der Sprache der ersten Einwohner von Martinique. Aikan Whisky Blend Collection Batch No. 1 trägt diesen Namen, da er die Verbindung zwischen zwei Klimazonen (gemäßigt in Schottland, auf Martinique tropisch), zwei  Kontinenten (Europa und Amerika) und zwei Welten (Rum und Whisky) symbolisiert. Das Etikett auf der Rückseite der Whiskyflasche enthüllt eine versteckte erotische Szene. Es symbolisiert die "Vollendung" der Ehe. Die beiden Protagonisten sind ein indigener Arawak-Chief und eine europäische Frau. 

Zunächst reifte der Whisky für drei Jahre in französischen Eichenfässern in Schottland, anschließend für weitere zwei Jahre in ehemaligen Rumfässern unter tropischen Bedingungen auf der Insel Martinique.

Aroma: reichhaltig und angenehm - deutlich Kakao, Maripan, Zimt, Muskatnuss, Vanille und Kokosnuss - dahinter Pflaumen und Zitrusfrüchte
Geschmack: kraftvoll und geschmeidig - im Geschmack sind wieder alle Aromen vertreten - dazu gesellen sich Schokolade, Malz, Honig und Nüsse - im Hintergrund etwas Ingwer
Abgang: lang im Abgang mit Tönen von Karamell, Vanille, Kokos, Kaffee und Gewürzen
