Im Sommer 2018 präsentierte Compass Box diese neue Abfüllung in der eigenen Malt Whisky Collection, die neben diesem Sherryfaß-geprägten Blended Malt Whisky noch die Marken Oak Cross, The Peat Monster und The Spice Tree enthält.
In diesem Blended Malt Whisky sind alle Haupt-Whiskies Sherryfaß gelagert - der ideale Blended Malt Whisky für den späten Abend oder nach einem prächtigen Essen.

Tasting Notes: So schmeckt der The Story of the Spaniard Compass Box

• Aroma: deutlich der Sherryfaß-Einfluß - reife, rote Beeren und Trockenfrüchte - süß und ausgewogen - über allem eine leichte Würze 
• Geschmack: voll und sehr weich im Geschmack mit deutlichen Noten von Zitrusschalen und reifen Birnen, gekocht in Rotwein mit Gewürzen
• Abgang: lang im Abgang mit Tönen von Vanille und Panna Cotta - dahinter reife Beeren und Kirschen
