Die Pot Still-Brennblase aus Kupfer wurde 1959 in Botucals Destillerie in La Miel gebracht.
Dieses diskontinuierliche Destillationsverfahren wurde ursprünglich in Schottland für die Produktion von Whisky genutzt.
Aus den besten Sugar Cane Honeys entsteht ein Destillat, das in kleinen amerikanischen Weißeichenfässern bis zur optimalen Reife lagert und in einem komplexen sowie geschmackvollem Rum resultiert.
Dieser Rum ist das Herz der einzigartigen Geschmacks-Profile von Botucal.

Durch das Destillieren in der Pot Still entsteht ein komplexes Destillat, das aufgrund des Zuckerrohrhonigs und eines andauernden Fermentationsprozesses ein reichhaltiges Geschmacksaroma erhält.
Während des Reifeprozesses entwickelt der Rum weitere Aromen und Geschmacksnoten.

Aroma: rote und tropische Früchte kombiniert mit Aromen von Toffee und Vanille
Geschmack: ausgewogen im Geschmack mit würzigen Eichennoten, geröstetem Kaffee und dunkler Schokolade
Abgang: intensiver, lang anhaltender Abgang
