Produktbeschreibung "Woodford Reserve - Double Oaked 43,2%vol. Sample 0,04l"
Ein eleganter Kentucky Straight bourbon aus Kentuckys kleinster Destillerie.
Labrot & Graham verwenden für Ihre Whiskeys mit 70% einen ungewöhnlich hohen Anteil an Mais.
Die restlichen 30% bestehen zu gleichen Teilen aus Roggen und Gerste.
Dadurch bekommt der Whiskey eine leichte Süße und vor allem eine angenehme Milde.

Nach der üblichen Reifung in neuen Fässern aus amerikanischer Weißeiche erhält dieser Whiskey eine zweite Reifung in stark ausgebrannten Fässern.

Aroma: intensive Aromen von Karamell und Honig - dazu etwas Marzipan, Schokolade und Eiche
Geschmack: wieder der Karamell und Vanille, jetzt deutlich fruchtiger - vor allem dunkle Beerenfrüchte, dann nussige Noten und eine leichte Würzigkeit - sehr cremig
Abgang: langer Abgang - süß-fruchtig - wieder die Vanille und die Eiche
