For 17 long years, this single malt whiskey invariably matured in exSherry barrels in Springbanks warehouses.
Bottled in barrel size with an edition of 9,120 bottles.
Aroma: the sherry is almost out of the glass! in addition winter spices - reminds strongly of gingerbread, coupled with a trace of smoke
Taste: like a Christmas cake with fruit, dark orange chocolate next to it - cardamom and cinnamon after a while, some honey and sherry
Departure: long, very gentle finish, again the sherry, then light notes of marzipan, espresso and liquorice

Typischer Springbank. Super gelungen wie ich finde. Nicht zu viel Sherry schön ausgewogen mit dunklen Beeren, zartem Rauch, Holz etc. ...
Finde ihn völlig überteuert, aber er schmeckt halt echt genial lecker!
Leider nur mit einer Auflage von 9.120 Flaschen. Zunächst!?

einfach Wow! keine Sherry Bombe, sondern toll ausgewogen zwischen Beeren, dezentem Rauch, Holz, Süße. Bisschen überteuert, aber super lecker!

typischer Springer, Alkohol schön eingebunden, etwas "dreckig" im Geschmack. Der Sherryeinfluss ist leider nur sehr dezent.
