In Glenglassaugh's dark warehouses in the Scottish Highlands, this single malt whiskey matured for over 41 years in a former sherry butt.
In February 2014, this barrel was bottled to only 582 bottles.
The barrel was chosen by Master Distiller Billy Walker, the bottles are individually numbered and packed in elaborate gift boxes - including tasting notes.
Aroma: distinct and intense aromas of ripe plum and raisins in rum, plus milk chocolate and very harmonious aromas of oak and lime peel
Taste: Fantastically spiced honey and pickled ginger, plum syrup and traces of cocoa
