An adult Ben Nevis, distilled in October 1996, matured in an exBourbon barrel - Bottled in November 2014 at only 116 bottles!
The bottles were individually numbered and packed in the Ben Nevis typical, noble wooden box.

Aroma: fresh cocoa and chocolate pudding with cream, with roasted peanuts and a light citrus note, lots of juicy pears - some wood and earth
Taste: powerful in the taste, clearly dark chocolate and again the roasted peanuts, in addition walnuts, cappuccino, ginger and cinnamon
Departure: on the finish pleasantly dry and dry - again some wood and coffee, plus the subtle sweetness of vanilla cream
