Ben Nevis 21 Year Old 1990/2012 Port Bodega Butt No. 3/10/4 59.8% vol. 0,7l

Distilled in November 1990, this single malt whiskey from Ben Nevis matured in Refill Hogsheads for 13 years, then these barrels were gevatted and stored in former port wine barrels of a Spanish bodega.
After another eight years, one of these barrels - this - was filled as a single cask bottling to 825 bottles.
The bottles were individually numbered and packed in the Ben Nevis typical, noble wooden box.

Aroma: slightly fruity, especially plum and cherry, but also some apple, a warm sweetness of toasted almonds, with some honey and vanilla
Taste: the fruits remain, also the almonds and the honey are present - beside vanilla now some oak wood
Departure: nutty and fruity - warm, long finish
