Product information "Glenglassaugh The Massandra Connection 39 Year Old 1973/2012 Aleatico finish 50.7% vol. 0,7l"
With the Massandra Connection Glenglassaugh brings out her oldest barrels in wonderful finishes.

Massandra is the oldest winery in Crimea.
Aleatico is an Italian wine that found its way to the Crimean peninsula in 1830.
The sugar content of the wine is 28-30% - the wine is offered as a two-year old
The sweetness of the wine has great influence on this single barrel bottling.

Aroma: spicy steak flavors! and beer batter, followed by intense aromas of dried fruit and wine aromas, in the background syrup and dark chocolate
Taste: plenty of toffee and notes of Pedro Ximenez-Sherry, dark chocolate and cherries, then ginger and a little black pepper - pleasantly creamy and round in the taste
Finish: a lot, a lot of toffee, again some ginger and a little oak

Distilled: February 1973
Bottled: July 2012
Edition: 341 bottles with individual numbering
