The classic of Balvenie in noble round wooden box!
Balvenie produces a wonderfully soft single malt whiskey, the malt flavor displaces the Torfton, without losing strength or even too sweet.
The Double Wood is stored in two different barrels.
First for 11.5 years in bourbon barrels and then 6 months in selected sherry casks.
The sherry is unmistakable in the aroma and taste, in addition to light orange tones.
Aroma: ground barley, slightly nutty, then fruity notes of grapefruit and cherries
Taste: sweet in the taste, the fruitiness is clear - now orange and red berries, slightly spicy with a little vanilla - and in the background one believes something peat
Finish: dry and spicy finish, pleasantly warm
