Der Berg Ben Macdui in der schottischen Speyside wird der schwarze Berg genannt (Beinn Dubh in gälischer Sprache).
Die schottische Destillerie Speyside liegt, wie sollte es anders sein, in der Speyside - unter dem Namen Beinn Dubh füllt die Destillerie einen Whisky ab, der in stark ausgebrannten exPortweinfässern aus dem Douro-Tal in Portugal lagerte - das Ergebnis ist ein Single Malt Whisky von extrem dunkler Farbe.

Aroma: frische Früchte, Rosinen und Sultaninen - dazu dunkle Schokolade
Geschmack: schwarze Johannisbeere und viel, viel mehr von der dunklen Schokolade - dazu Röstnoten und fruchtige Süße
Abgang: langer Abgang mit vielen dunklen Früchten und ausgeprägten Röstnoten
