Gewinner der Bronzemedaille 2017 auf der Concours General Agricole in Paris 2017

Im nördlichen Teil des Bergerac mit der Apellation Pécharmant werden die besten Rotweine erzeugt.
Das berühmteste Weingut dieses Gebietes ist das Chateau Tiregand in Creysse, es stammt aus dem 13. Jahrhundert und ist seit 1831 in Familienbesitz.

Die heutige Besitzerin ist die Comtesse St. Exupéry, eine enge Verwandte des berühmten Schriftstellers Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
Ein Südhang mit Mergelboden (Kalkstein mit Ton) verleiht dem Rotwein genug Körper für eine einjährige Fass-Lagerung und bis zu zehn Jahren Lebensdauer in der Flasche.

Die Bepflanzung des Weinbergs besteht aus 21% Cabernet Sauvignon, 55% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Franc und 5% Malbec.
Nach der Lagerung in Eichenfässern, die jährlich zum Teil erneuert werden, erfolgt die Klärung Fass für Fass nur mit Eiweiß.
