Produktbeschreibung "Tullamore Dew"
Tullamore Dew kommt ursprünglich aus der Tullamore Distillery, die 1829 in Tullamore, County Offaly gegründet wurde.
Daniel E. Williams führte die Destillerie Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts und gab dem Whiskey seinen heutigen Namen (Dew bedeutet (Morgen-)Tau).

Nach der großen Krise im irischen Whiskey Markt schloss die Destillerie im Jahre 1954.
Die Marke Tullamore Dew kam zu John Power & Son.
Heute gehört Tullamore Dew zu Beam Global und wird in der irschen Destillerie Midleton produziert.

Aroma: deutlich Frucht und warmes Gebäck mit Toffee und Karamell
Geschmack: voll im Körper mit Noten von Sherry und Gewürzen, warmer Toast mit Butter und Honig, dahinter Vanille
Abgang: lang im Abgang - wieder Karamell und Toffee
