Wer die Rumwelt zuletzt aufmerksam verfolgt hat, wird an dem Namen Worthy Park nicht ungeachtet vorbeigekommen sein.
Eingebettet im Lluidas Tal im Landesinneren Jamaikas liegt das traditionsreiche, von der Familie Clark betriebene Anwesen Worthy Park Estate.

Seit 1720 wird hier Zuckerrohr angebaut - schon seit 1741 Rum produziert.
Damit ist Worthy Park nicht nur die älteste noch aktive Destillerie, sondern auch der einzig verbliebene Single-Estate-Produzent Jamaikas.

Denn nur hier wird Rum noch zu 100 Prozent aus der hauseigenen Melasse produziert.
Fermentiert und in einer reinen Copper Pot Still von Forsyths mit einer Kapazität von insgesamt 18.000 Litern destilliert.

Zu den Schätzen von Worthy Park Estate zählen die vor allem in der Cocktailszene beliebten weißen und gelagerten Qualitäten der Serie Rum-Bar, sowie die Premium-Abfüllung Worthy Park Single Estate Reserve - ein charaktervoller, 6-10 Jahre alter Rum.

Der für Worthy Park Estate typische Wiedererkennungswert in Nase und Gaumen: fruchtige Bananen mit frischen, grünen und würzigen Noten.
