Glendaloughs Double Barrel ist ein Single Grain Whisky, der zunächst in exBourbon-Barrels reifte und anschließend ein sechsmonatiges Finish in spanischen exOloroso-Sherryfässern erhielt.

Aroma: weiche, malzige Aromen, dann Vanille und weiße Schokolade, dazu Butterscotch und eingekochte Äpfel, dahinter Marzipan und geröstete Eiche
Geschmack: wieder Butterscotch und Vanillecreme mit leicht salzigen Anklängen, dann fruchtiger werdend mit Noten von roter Marmelade und Brombeeren
Abgang: würzig im Abgang, Eiche und Kräuter sind präsent
