Der Name lässt unweigerlich vermuten, daß dieser Rum aus Österreich stammt.
Doch weit gefehlt, die Albert Michler Destillerie hat ihren Sitz im britischen Bristol, der Rum stammt aus der dominikanischen Republik.
Albert Michler war im Jahr 1863 Hoflieferant am österreich-ungarischen Hof und einer der ersten, die den Rum aus der Karibik in Europa publik machten.

Aroma: kräftige, süße Aromen, dazu viel Würze von den Eichenfässern, dahinter deutlich Vanille und Röstaromen
Geschmack: weich und cremig im Geschmack mit einer eleganten Sherrysüße, dazu wieder die Vanille und dann mit braunem Zucker gebratene Bananen
Abgang: langer, weicher Abgang
