Foxterrier sind die Lieblingshunde der Familie Laing - sie lieferten die Inspiration für die neue Kreation des renommierten unabhängigen Abfüllers aus Schottland.
Denn die kleine Strolche („wee Scallywags“) sind bekanntlich süß und gleichzeitig frech – Charaktereigenschaften, die sie mit dem würzigen und herrlich süßen Speyside Blended Malt teilen.

Nur die feinsten Speyside Malts, unter anderem Mortlach, Macallan und Glenrothes, sind in Scallywag enthalten.
Abgefüllt mit 46% Alkoholgehalt und nicht kältefiltriert, hat diese Small Batch Abfüllung dank der Reifung in exBourbon- und spanischen exSherry-Fässern eine leuchtend goldene Farbe.

Das Ergebnis: ein einzigartiger Malt mit einem würzigen Charakter, der mit einem Hauch Vanille und einer Mischung aus süßem Kompott, dunkler Schokolade, aromatischer Orange und süßem Tabak verschmilzt.

Aroma: intensive Süße von Rohrzucker, Sultaninen und kandiertem Ingwer, dazu etwas Getreide
Geschmack: wieder die Süße, dazu Muskatnuss und Gebäck - dann Vanille und Zimt
Abgang: würzige Eiche, Vanille und Sherry-Noten im Abgang
