Die Speyside-Destillerie wurde im Jahre 1974 errichtet.
Auchroisk produziert einen seidenweichen, vom Sherry-Faß geprägten Malt.
Erst seit 1986 wird der Whisky als Single Malt abgefüllt.
Die Destillerie gehört J&B (Justerini & Brooks - UDV), die ihn als Malt-Gegenstück zu den hauseigenen Blends auf den Markt brachten.

Aroma: leicht und verlockend mit Aromen von frisch geschnittenem Gras, Nüssen und Crème Anglaise
Geschmack: weich im Geschmack mit einer angenehmen Süße von Vanille und Getreide
Abgang: weich im Abgang mit Noten von frischem Getreide

Aroma: malzig, aromatisch durch Zitrusfrüchte geprägt.
Geschmack: Apetitmachend und aromenreich. Süßlich mit Anisaromen.
Abgang: süßlich, keksartige Trockenheit, trockener werdend.

Eher ein einfacher Whisky - man merkt eben, dass die Brennerei für Blends produziert, und daher eher auf Konstanz in den Produkten statt auf große Komplexität setzt.
