The independent bottler Signatory is in this fortunate position and regularly roams through the warehouse of its own distillery Edradour in the Scottish Highlands.

The dark color of this bottling indicates intensive sherry cask maturation - the single malts are consistently of high quality and an enjoyable highlight.

Including bottlings of 10-year-old Edradour Single Malt - matured in former sherry casks, these bottlings always have a strong, dark color and clearly show what wonderful single malts Edradour produces .

The Casksselected for this bottling were filled with fresh distillate in May 2013 and matured in first-fill Oloroso Sherry Butts for over ten years until they were released in October 2023 were married together and bottled.

• Nose: spicy oak and aromas of fresh pastries, plus rich sherry aromas , dark fruits, dates and raisins - some licorice and fennel seeds
• Palate: soft, almost creamy - again the pastry, plus caramel and floral notes - clearly the sweet sherry notes above everything. Notes, dark chocolate and a slight spice
• Finish: medium-long, warming finish with light sherry tones
