For the Old Particular series, independent bottler Douglas Laing selected Sherry Butte's 12-year-old Glenrothes from Speyside, Scotland.
Distilled in February 2005, bottled in March 2017 at only 402 bottles.

Aroma: a light sweetness of warm butterscotch sauce, with intense spicy aromas behind
Taste: full-bodied and nutty in the taste, then dry notes of cedar and tobacco leaves
Finish: long finish - now more wood, dark chocolate, caramel and black tea
