Since the start of the series in 1968, the mostly very limited bottlings have usually been made with an alcohol content of 46%vol. or in barrel size and sometimes with a wood finish in the elegant bottles of the traditional company.

Four Cask Strength Single Cask bottlings will appear exclusively for Germany in summer 2021.

This 12-year-old Caol Ila matured in the refilled former Sherry Butt #312059 and was bottled on May 4th 2021 to only 314 bottles.
