For seven years, this single malt whiskey from the Skye distillery Talisker matured in a Refill Hogshead, then Douglas Laing filled the cask in August 2016 to just 411 bottles.

Aroma: sweet vanilla and lots of smoke
Taste: Sweet at first, followed by notes of tar and beaten barley, some cane sugar and ashes
Departure: coal dust and gauze bandages, barley ground behind and the smoke from burning wood
