An elegant Speyside single malt whisky from the Glen Grant distillery.
Distilled on May 31st, 1995, this single malt whisky was aged for over 25 years in the two exBourbon barrels #88181 and #88182, then Signatory filled the casks on June 15th 2020 to just 337 bottles.

Nose: brown sugar and caramelized orange peel, then aromas of burnt marshmallows follow - behind them fresh tobacco leaves
Taste: lots of strong honey and ripe barley - freshly baked with spicy notes of cardamom and anise
Finish: long finish - again the spices, plus nutmeg and oily tones of lemon

Eine großartige Abfüllung, so macht Glen Grant Spaß! Herrliche Orangennoten, ein ganz leicht dezenter süßer Tabak im Hintergrund, Honignoten und herrliche orientalische Gewürze verwöhnen den Gaumen. Das Bourbon-Fass hat hier ganz Arbeit geleistet und wunderbare Aromen in den Malt gezaubert. Farbe ist ein sehr schönes Bernstein, und die Fassstärke ist das, was man sich wünscht. Leider hat die Flasche nicht lange überlebt, er war sehr beliebt bei uns...
