Murray McDavid chose a tobermory here, which was distilled in 1995 and aged for 20 years in an exBourbon barrel - then allowed to ripen the Malt Whiskey at Murray McDavid in a French wine barrel from a winery in Allier.

Aroma: floral aromas - clearly roses - then cherries and chocolate
Taste: again the cherries and the chocolate, with spicy oak notes, liquorice and a flowery sweetness
Finish: long finish with sweet and spicy notes - cherry and chocolate are retained
