A smoky Ballechin aged 13, matured in an ex Burgundy wine barrel.
Distilled on January 21, 2004, bottled on February 7, 2017 to only 399 bottles.

Aroma: clearly the influence of the wine - red, ripe fruits and raisins are in the foreground, in addition almonds and spicy aromas - a subtle note of smoke resonates
Taste: the fruits are in the background, more and more almonds and marzipan with a pleasant sweetness of dried fruits - over all peat smoke
Finish: a long, warm finish - surprisingly dry
