A 16-year-old single malt whiskey from the Glen Elgin distillery in Speyside, Scotland.
Gordon & MacPhail chose a refill Sherry Hogshead with several refill sherry butts for this bottling and filled it in in 2014.

Aroma: subtle aromas of sweet sherry with dried apricots, plums and cocoa
Taste: spicy in the taste with notes of grapefruit, orange and blackcurrant - in the background creamy chocolate
Finish: long and warming on the finish
