A fruity single malt whiskey from the Scottish Lowlands, distilled at the Bladnoch distillery, aged over 26 years in an exBourbon Hogshead, bottled by the independent bottler in 2016 at only 222 bottles.
Aroma: fresh strawberry peach cake with marzipan and English cream, with orange blossom and almonds - in the background white chocolate and coconut ice cream Taste: an elegant combination of white peach, apricot and mirabelle, followed by freshly baked oat-ginger biscuits, juicy sultanas, maple syrup and anise - in the background again the orange Departure: very fruity with nutty notes and a surprisingly dry finish
