Port Charlotte PC12 Oileanach Furachail 58.7% vol. 0,7l
The eighth edition of Port Charlotte's "PC Series" - "Oileanach Furachail" is the Gaelic description for the apprentice who watches and helps his master at work and one day learns and takes over the craft.
Aroma: lots of smoke and sea salt, then many dark fruits, raisins, plums and soft toffee - with spicy oak, some cinnamon and wood polish - followed by oranges, dates and nutty aromas
Taste: rich and creamy in the taste - now clearly the sherry barrel influence with dates, figs and honey - fruity with notes of ripe apples, pears and apricots - in the background again the honey, the peat and the oak
Finish: unbelievably long finish with lots of peat smoke, licorice and again the dates

Rauchig wie zu erwarten aber nicht zu sehr. Nase Vanille und Honig. Nicht sehr langer abgang nim Vergleich zu einigen anderen Cask Strenght Whiskeys
