All the better that Douglas Laing has bottled this 18-year-old refill butt in her Old Particular series.

Aroma: sweet, broken cereal and fresh malt at the beginning, with aromas of fresh lemons in a wooden box
Taste: now it gets fruity - caramelized peaches and then a warming spiciness
Finish: a long finish with lots of oak and spices, especially cloves and cinnamon, with roasted nuts
