In 1997 and 1998, Springbank distilled the triple-distilled single malt whiskyHazelburn for the first time. This 21-year-old single malt whisky is the oldest Hazelburn to date - matured in ex-bourbon casks (30%) and exSherry (70%).
This bottling is strictly limited and only a few bottles are available.
Nose: clearly strong caramel, molasses and toffee pudding - behind it creamy chocolate liqueur and traces of ginger
Palate: robust and d mouth-filling - notes of creamy marzipan, plums and choux pastry - plus a slightly bitter note of dark chocolate
Finish: creamy in the long finish with tones of sandalwood and liquorice
