Since it was founded in 1845 on the beautiful island of La Réunion in the Indian Ocean, the seventh generation family-run distillery Isautier has always managed to bring new and creative rums to the market.
Perfectly balanced, matured rums, with a very individual style: fresh and fruity with notes of delicate oak and wonderful notes of sea spray.
The rums are distilled in a column still and then mature in the Isautier vaults for at least three years.
This is followed by cooling filtration so that the organoleptic properties of the rum are fully expressed.
This meticulous process and attention to detail are the key to the excellent quality of Isautier rums.

Rum Vieux 5 Years is a successful blended rum made from Rhum Agricole and Rhum Traditionnel, which matured for five years in tailor-made, fine-grain French oak Casks in the tropical climate of the island.
The result is a strikingly unusual and complex rum that is fresh, expressive and balanced on the nose, with notes of sugar cane and tropical fruits that harmonize perfectly with vanilla and oak aromas.
The palate notices a wonderful roundness and elegance, with beautiful notes of vanilla and a light oak note, which mix harmoniously with a hint of citrus fruits and spices.
