Douglas Laing surprises with a single-cask bottling of an 8 year old octomore in the Old Particular series! Distilled in May 2011, the single malt matured for eight years in a refill barrel, then in May 2019 the cask was bottled to 330 bottles.
Aroma: distinctly maritime aromas, especially seagrass - with sweet camp fire smoke Taste: rich and earthy in the taste with soot, burnt sugar and black pepper Finish: long finish with notes of old Leather and dried fruits - charred oak and peat behind it
