The second bottling from the Vintner's Trilogy by Bowmore.
This single malt whiskey first matured for 13 years in former bourbon barrels, then matured for another 13 years in former French wine barrels.
Bottled in barrel strength with an alcohol content of 48.7% vol.

Aroma: red cherries on freshly baked cake, fresh herbs, clear camphor and some anise - over all light peat smoke
Taste: very fruity in the taste, especially ripe pineapple, mango and papaya with mild honey - behind the herbs and the peat smoke
Finish: long finish - at the beginning still the fruits, then spicier with notes of dark chocolate and sea salt and - of course - peat smoke
