A 14-year-old bunnahabhain from a single exBourbon hogshead, distilled in 2002, bottled in 2017 by Wemyss on just 371 bottles.

Aroma: salty scent of fresh oysters, anchovies and spicy tomato paste, fennel and dry smoke behind
Taste: full in the body, very creamy with notes of lemon sorbet and vanilla pudding, then spicy - in the background slightly salty notes, reminiscent of buttered plaice
Departure: long finish, now a lot of smoke and soot - clearly roasted fish
